Biography

Adrienne Egger was born in Colorado (USA) in 1977. From 1995 to 1997 she studied Business at Boston University, School of Management. In 2002, she attended a course “Analog Black and White Photography” with Lynne Cohen at the Salzburg Art Academy. From 2002 to 2005 she studied psychology at the University of Salzburg. Since 2013 she has been working as a professional artist with a comprehensive program in the areas of painting, design, events and workshops. (alt Since 2013, she has worked as a professional artist, with a diverse portfolio in painting, design, events, and workshops.) The artist’s multifaceted works are colorful, figurative and provocative. They command the center of the room, and thus the center of the human psyche: the titles of her workshops such as “Be Your Own Muse” or “Hollywood Me” provide the key to her affirmative, energetic joy of life, which shows paths out of fear and resignation. Her own journey, rising from the financial hardships of her childhood, her dreams that span two continents, and her extensive business travels around the globe, all shape the expression and dynamism of her art. Her techniques and colors are as diverse as her themes: she uses oil and spray paints, patinas, metal leaves, resin and lights. Stylistically, she knows to vary and adapt with her topic. With incredible productivity and ease, the artist has so far created an extensive oeuvre, which can be found in many collections worldwide, including Hong Kong, San Francisco, Aspen, New York, London, Ibiza, Paris, Hamburg, Vienna as well as numerous other places. Many well-known lifestyle magazines wrote articles about her and her work. Adrienne Egger has participated in many international exhibitions and successful charity auctions. Since 2024, she has been represented by LDXArtodrome Gallery.
